where we discuss the purpose of the Church, the power of the
Word, and how to win souls for Christ. All are welcome to join
us for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study every Wednesday

24th, 2008 – 7PM Sharp! ~ Women’s Day Choir
Rehearsal ~ We are inviting all female members of
SCBC to sing for this year’s Women’s Day Celebration on August
3rd.
Also, if you are interested in praise dancing for
Women’s Day, please see Sis. Latrell Reagans.
July 25, 2008 – 6:30PM ~ Vacation Bible
School Awards Program Celebration ~ This will
culminate the “Champion for Jesus” Vacation Bible School for
2008 where we have over 30 children in attendance. Refreshments will be
served and a freewill donation is requested. Come join us in
celebrating our children’s summer bible study.
August 1, 2008 – 6:30PM ~ Sister-to-
Sister: Loving, Serving, Celebrating ~ Come join
the Women’s Ministry as they begin their celebration with a
fellowship including a display of High Fashion &
Hats.
Refreshments will be served and a freewill donation is
requested.
August 3, 2008 – THE SCBC WOMEN’S
MINISTRY CELEBRATE “Walking Together In The Freedom of God’s
Love” taken from Romans 8:31-39!!! ~ 11:00am ~ Rev.
Violet Deace of Abyssinian Baptist Church, New York, NY will
preach the sermon for our morning worship.
~ 3:30pm ~ Rev. Zavette
Smallwood, Pastor of Great Redeemer Baptist Church, Bronx, NY
will preach the sermon for our afternoon worship
celebration.
